Independence Day Celebration in Sioux Falls

7:30 a.m. Fun Run/Walk Check-In for Registered Participants | Walk/Run Route at Fawick Park
8:00 a.m. Fun Run/Walk Begins | Walk/Run Route at Fawick Park
10:00 a.m. Parade Begins | Parade Route North bound along Phillips Avenue to 6th Street
11:00 a.m. Picnic
Picnic and Entertainment (Municipal Band with Mogen’s Heroes to follow)
Lunch Is Served for the first 3,000 attendees
All-beef hot dog, chips, and water (Sunshine/Tony’s Catering)
Picnic Location – Levitt Shell at 6th & Phillips
Serving lines will be in the parking lot, on the south side of Levitt Shell
11:00 a.m. Entertainment at the Levitt Shell – Sioux Falls Municipal Band

Independence Day Celebration in Harrisburg 
Celebrate Independence Day with us at Central Park. Bring the family for an evening of food and fun. The American Legion Post 45 will be selling burgers, hot dogs, chips, pop and ice cream. We will also have music and inflatables. Don’t forget to bring your chairs and blankets. Fireworks will begin at dusk (around 9:30pm).

Sioux Falls Municipal Band at the Levitt – 11 am
Let freedom ring with the Sioux Falls Municipal Band as we celebrate the Fourth of July in style!
This special patriotic concert themed “Celebrating the Fourth” will take place at the Levitt at the Falls July 4 at 11 a.m. Get ready to feel the pride and spirit of America as we perform stirring renditions of beloved patriotic classics. From “The Star-Spangled Banner” to “America the Beautiful,” this concert will be a tribute to our nation’s independence and the value we hold dear.
Bring your flags, your picnic blankets and your patriotic spirit for a morning filled with music, community and celebration at the Levitt!
There is no cost to attend and the public is welcome. Seating is based on first come, first served.
Suitable for all ages.

KORY and the FIREFLIES at the Levitt | 7pm 
KORY and the FIREFLIES were formed in the summer of ‘94 and founded by the band’s leader, Kory Van Sickle. They have been writing, recording, and performing ever since. In the band’s 25+ years they’ve consistently delivered positive, energetic shows with a special gift for connecting with their audiences. KORY and the FIREFLIES have always made an effort to create positive music and positive moments for their audiences and continue to do their best to spread peace and love in hopes of helping make the world just a little brighter…like a firefly.

The Levitt is an outdoor music venue that presents 50 FREE concerts every summer. Bring a lawn chair, some snacks, and family and friends to enjoy live music right here in Sioux Falls.

2nd Annual Independence Day Event starting at Noon at BB’s 
Join us for our 2nd Annual Independence Day Event! We will be hosting a Big Dog Eating Contest, Pub Olympics, Live Music, and a Kidney Foundation Happy Hour! 50% of registration Fees from the Events will be donated to The Kidney Foundation to help aid families and continued research to improve the lives of those affected with Kidney related illnesses. Please register for our events asap! Cash Prizes awarded! Children welcome until 9pm!
