I am a little late on doing a post on this one, but hey – better late then never! St. Patrick’s day is Sunday, March 17th – most of the Sioux Falls bars/business’s will be celebrating it on Saturday the 16th. This is one of the craziest weekends in Sioux Falls – being a part time DJ – I have personally seen the crazy!! 🙂 I will put together a list of events for both Saturday and Sunday below. I will post some of the bar stuff for you to check out before my list comes out on Facebook Saturday – I will also put some events you won’t see in my list!

Starting at 2 pm, the 40th annual Sioux Falls St. Patrick’s Day Parade will begin! It is the city’s longest running parade. To view the map of the parade, click here!

St. Patrick’s Weekend at Shenanigans will be loaded with events! Green EVERYTHING! (Beer, Eggs, Shots). The party starts FRIDAY NIGHT with The Fishheads!

Saturday’s Line-up:

Sunday’s party starts @ 8 am with the CARTWRIGHT BROTHERS! Pinnacle Production’s DJ Louder takes the show afterwards!

PAve’s Make America Green Again Party starts at 10 am on Saturday. The Cartwright Brothers will go on from 1 pm – 4 pm. A Lucky Charms Eating Contest 1 pm (Sign up by 11am). They will have $3 Green Bombers 9pm-Close. DJ Absolute then closes out the night starting at 10 pm – Close. On Sunday, they will be open from 11am-2am. $3 Green Bombers Open-Close. $4 Guinness (Tap or Can) Open-Close. $5 Irish Car Bombs (Open-Close)

The Blarney Stone Pub will be celebrating starting @ 8 am. They will feature Traditional Irish food. Free pint of beer with a breakfast entree from 8am – 2pm. Festive green beer. Pipes & Drums. Charms & Trinkets!

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day Parade Day at McNally’s! Parade Day at McNally’s! It may as well be actual St. Patrick’s Day! Breakfast starts at 8am. Ceili Band 9-11 am. Special St. Paddy’s Day menu from 11am-midnight. Dakota District Pipes and Drums at Noon. Jameson Parade Bus leaves at 1pm (tickets must be purchased ahead of time. They go on sale March 1st and sell out quickly! Khartum Temple Pipes and Drums at 6:15! Celebrate with us, drink green beer and sip on one of our over 30 Irish Whiskies!!

The biggest party of the year for the Downtown Holiday Inn with Goodroad Band, Celtic Steps, Khartum Pipes & Drums, Food and Drink Specials, Green Beer, and Great Parade Access! The party starts at 9 am!

JJ’s Wine, Spirits & Cigars will be celebrating St. Patty’s Weekend Music with Green & Snow starting at 7 pm! This classic duo plays a range of favorites including Simon & Garfunkel, Seals & Crofts, CSN, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, The Beatles and more!

If you don’t want to go out to drink, listen to live music, etc – TH Grey will be having their 2nd annual 50% off sale! The 3rd Annual Mash Madness will be happening in Downtown Sioux Falls from 2 pm – 10 pm both Saturday and Sunday. Come downtown to taste and rate select craft brews beginning on March First Friday and continuing through March 17. It’s easy! Pick up a punch card at any of the four participating breweries, and after tasting all four featured brews, vote for your favorite and turn in the punchcard for a chance to win brewery gift cards. The winning brewery will receive bragging rights for a full year, and a traveling trophy. The First Annual Hartford St. Patty’s Pub Crawl starts at 9 am on Saturday and it goes through Sunday! The 16th Annual St. Patty’s Day Bash for the El Riad Shrine will feature the Eclipse Band and the Khartum Pipes & Drum! Doors open at 11 am with FREE Admission! There will be a beer pong tourney starting at 12:30 pm. Eclipse will take the stage at 7 pm until close! The Khartum Pipes & Drum will go on at 8 pm.

St Patty’s at Tinner’s starts on Friday and goes through Sunday. Eat, drink and be Irish…for the weekend! Food and drink specials throughout the weekend. Friday kicks off with a corned beef and cabbage dinner special and continues through Sunday. Remember your mama telling you to eat your greens? Go ahead eat those greens! Green eggs and ham (served on St Patty’s only) and pair it with a tall green beer of your choice. Maybe you’re feeling the luck of the Irish, throw a roll and a dollar into our shake a day for a chance to win the pot! The party kicks off Friday March 15th and continues until closing March 17th. The Johnny Holm Band will be playing at Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort Saturday starting at 8:30 pm! The show is dedicated to the fans, and moves with the speed of lightning! There’s never a dull moment with Johnny and his band on stage! Ask anyone who knows Johnny, they’ll tell you all about the mayhem that masquerades as a rock and roll band. The Johnny Holm band will be in the show lounge. Admission is free! 21+ only.
