Halloween will be here before you know it – which means 2020 is getting closer to being over!! It also means you will be seeing a lot of costumes, parties, live music, DJ’s, and haunted houses! I will put a list together today to help you prepare for Halloween this year. It will actually be on a Saturday this year – there will be a full moon – oh and it will be daylights savings time, which means bars will be open an extra hour! I will be adding to the list when I come across more! Here is what I have found so far:
Wileys will be having their costume contest / Halloween Party with DJ Noyes from Pinnacle Productions. The party starts at 9 pm. There isn’t much for details on this yet – but like most events, more will be known soon!
There will be a Ghoul-ing Pianos with DUELING DUO at the Associates & Co. bar. A bone-chilling evening at Ass’ociates & Co. Sioux Falls’ own DUELING DUO will be taking your requests. Doors will open to guests at 6:30pm for Dinner and drinks. Sales end on Oct 29 at 8:30 PM. $50 a ticket. The event starts at 8:30 pm on the 31st.
Twisted Nightmare Haunted House at 8th & Railroad. This event will start at 7 pm. Tickets will be $12 at the door or $10 with a canned food donation for Feeding South Dakota. This will be Downtown Sioux Falls at 8th & Railroad.
– Masks required for all guests inside the haunted house!
– Moving floors, fog, loud sounds and strobe lights are in use.
– Kids under 12 must have a parent/guardian.
– Do not touch the actors or props and they will not touch you.
– No smoking, vaping, alcohol, food or drinks.
– No pictures or video inside the haunted house.
– We do guided tours of 4-6 people. If your group is larger we will try to accommodate or split you up depending on how many you bring.
– We use the entire building to scare you, so most of our line is outside. Dress for the weather!
The District Halloween will be having a Costume Party once again! There will be no cover charge for this event. Hosted by ZEØ of DJ SieffStyle Entertainment. Doors Open at 8 pm | 21+ High Energy Open Format DJ and Light Show stage production you expect at The District.
Terror 29 Haunted House is open Thurs, Fri and Saturday’s in October! Face Masks are required and cleaning of high touch surfaces happen between every group. This year experience the haunted attraction in 3D! 3D glasses are included with your ticket purchase and halfway through the haunt you’re asked to put them on (if you’d like). Experience monsters jumping off the walls and clowns lurking around any corner. We are also offering a virtual walkthrough of the haunt on Wednesday nights at 8PM CST. Whether you come in person or watch online we are spooky excited to bring the TERROR this haunt season! Tickets are on sale now at Terror29.com – for Halloween, their hours will be from 7 pm – 11 pm.

Masquerave – A Halloween Bash will be going on at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Join us if you dare! A wicked good time for everyone at the Masquerave- Halloween Bash. DJ Chris Hintz will be mixing it up with all your favorties and specialty themed cocktails. Costumes are required and must be 21 and over. Cash prizes for: Best Male costume, Best Female costume, and Best Couple/Group costume. This event will run from 9 pm – 1 am.

The South Bar in Hartford will be having a Halloween Scavenger Hunt and Costume Contest. Night 2 of our Halloween weekend celebration will include a zombie themed party. We are also teaming up with Buffalo Ridge Brewery and the Dugout for a scavenger hunt contest. Be sure to pick up your cards and complete the tasks to be eligible for a drawing to include gift cards and swag from each location. Night 1 of their celebration will be a Halloween Eve Karaoke and Costume contest.
If you want to venture out even further – the Canton Barn will be having a Halloween Party as well! Who doesn’t like to dress up for Halloween? Join us for a fun night of dancing & drinking! Haunted Corn Maze. Great fun for all! Some say these grounds are the scariest place on earth. Are you up to the challenge? Navigate through this 11 acre corn maze in the design of the giraffe. With maze map and questions, find checkpoints containing the answers. Find hidden checkpoint for free treat. Bring flashlights. Concessions and restrooms are available. 7.5 foot paths for social distancing. 6 pm to 9:30 pm. Last person enters at closing times. Grounds close 1 hour after closing times.
