With hits such as “Alcohol You Later” and “Drunk Me“, Mitchell said “I wanted to tell a bunch of different stories on this album, but they all had to be authentic and believable to me. What I was feeling at the time, where I was in my head, what’s going on in the world, it all contributed to the end product. The songs that made it were the ones I was sure that I was passionate about getting on there – what I was proud of, what I really wanted to say.”
I am personally not the biggest country music fan – but I have grown to like his music, which makes this announcement exciting for me! I made a joke that hell must have frozen over when I saw the title of one his songs. A country song with the title, “Bitches“. As I mocked it, I listened to it – and loved it! He has a great voice and I can’t wait until July 12!
