St. Patrick’s day is next Tuesday, March 17th but most bars/establishments will be celebrating this coming Saturday, the 14th. I figured I better put something together today – better late then never – so that you have a heads up on whats all going on throughout town. Here are the events I came across – in no particular order.

41st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. *** The parade has been cancelled ***

Frontier Bank on Phillips Ave will be serving St. Patrick’s Day Pancakes. Join us for FREE pancakes + sausage in celebrating the 5th anniversary of the opening of our Downtown Sioux Falls branch with our annual Green Pancake Feed! We’ll be flipping pancakes and serving sizzling sausage this Saturday from 10 am to 12:30 pm on the Plaza Patio (corner of 9th & Phillips). It’s the perfect location to take in the St. Patrick’s Day parade, and celebrate the wee holiday!

St. Paddy’s Parade Day at McNally’s starting at 8 am. Join us for breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Dinner and Drinks! Breakfast/Brunch menu starts at 8 am with The Ceili Band from 9 am to 11 am. Lunch/Dinner menu begins at 11 am and we will serve food until 10 pm. Enjoy Dakota District Pipes and Drums at Noon and 7 pm! Parade Bus leaves at 1 pm (tickets go on sale March 1st) and returns at 5 pm.

Irish. We’re On It. – St Patrick’s Day Party At PAve. We are open early at 10am! Cartwright Brothers will be performing from 1 pm – 4 pm. Get in on the Lucky Charms Eating Contest 1pm (Sign up by 11 am). $3 Green Bombers 9 pm – Close. DJ Absolute 10 pm – Close

St. Patrick’s at Remedy Brewing Company ft. Donnybrook Brawlers + Coming Home. We’ll tap two beers at 11am: an Irish Red Ale for St. Patty’s and an Apple Pie Queen Bee for Pi day (3.14)! We will be serving up Bangers & Mash (mashed potatoes & sausage smothered in gravy) til we’re sold out! Then, prepare yourself for two awesome local bands! Coming Home – 7-8:15pm Donnybrook Brawlers – 8:45-10pm. NO COVER CHARGE & free parking at Remedy! See you March 14th!

Come celebrate St. Patty’s day down at Wileys! Check out the parade in the afternoon then head to Wileys where there will be 2 DJ’s! DJ Noyes from 3-8 pm then DJ Ausom from 8-close.

El Riad Shrine will have their St. Patty’s Day Bash starting at 12:30 pm. Eclipse will go on at 7 pm. Come Shamrock the house with the O’Fife & Drum! Free admission all ye day and night! Must be 21 to attend. For questions call the El Riad Shrine at 336-1117.

The biggest party of the year with Goodroad Band, Celtic Steps, Khartum Pipes & Drums, Food and Drink Specials, Green Beer, and Great Parade Access will be at Holiday Inn Sioux Falls-City Centre starting at 9 am!

Join us in Downtown Sioux Falls at Bin 201 for an all day/night event starting at 10am featuring $3 Irish Coffee, $3 Breakfast Shots, $3 Jameson Shots, $4 Irish Car Bombs, $4.50 20oz Guiness Taps, and Live Music in the evening by Chris Sandvig Music!

Head out to Red Rock Bar & Grill for some green beers ???? and some corned beef cabbage Sammy’s!  They will finish the night with some Crazy Franks Karaoke!

Blue 42 will be having a St Patrick’s Day Cornhole Doubles Tournament. Blue 42 Sports Grill & SoDak Cornhole are hosting a St Patty’s Cornhole Tournament – Saturday Doubles, Sunday Singles. Breakfast at 8:00 am. Registration starts at 10:00 am – Bags Fly at 11:00 am. More Details to come as prizes and added money is figured. This will be one of the best Tournaments of the Year! We will be hosting a Singles Tournament a on Sunday to Follow. Players are allowed to bring their own bags, but they must be resin filled only. Must also meet ACL Bag Requirements. Doubles Brackets will be double elimination, race to 21, with best of 3 games on the winners bracket, and one and done on the losers bracket.

WoodGrain Brewing Co. will have their St Patrick’s Day Bash starting at 10 am!! We begin the day with beermosas and green pancakes with sausage from our friends at Frontier Bank! Next up, the Celtic dancers are back starting at 11:30. Billy Lurken plays immediately following the parade and we close the night out with The Long Shadows featuring Kevin Stillson,T.J. Nelson and Mark Nelson.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY CELEBRATION ! Starts off at noon by the Painting and Chalking of the Shamrock at Town Square Main St. & 1st Ave. Then we have follow the leader ALL Vehicles are Welcome, through the City Streets of Crooks at Noon, Everyone is Welcome. Then we Have Games on Main St. along with RIBS & CORN BEEF & CABBAGE & POT LUCK FEED AT CRITTERS IN CROOKS. EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN IN. We are all A Little Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. COME JOIN US FOR A DAY OF FUN!

Come out to the Vinyl Social Club and celebreat your Irish Side with us! We will be opening at noon with $3 Tall Green Beer $2 off our 32oz St. Patty’s Margarita!
